In the wake of heavy rains, Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis reviewed the situation in Marathwada districts and instructed divisional commissioners to promptly evaluate the damages. His office reported significant agricultural losses and the deployment of an SDRF team in Nanded.

According to Fadnavis's office, heavy rains claimed the lives of four individuals and left 17 injured. The rainfall also led to the deaths of 88 animals and the collapse of 160 crude houses. Fadnavis urged the administration to extend immediate assistance by completing Panchnamas for all damages, including agricultural losses.

Meanwhile, Gujarat Home Minister Harsh Sanghavi held a meeting to discuss flood relief in Vadodara, committing to ensuring affected residents receive assistance from insurance companies.
