Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has announced that the Telangana Talli statue will be unveiled in the Secretariat on December 9 this year, as stated by the Chief Minister's Office (CMO). This historic event will be organized to echo the spirit of the Million March, a pivotal moment in the Telangana movement.

In a ceremony marked by Vedic hymns, the Chief Minister conducted the Bhumi Puja for the statue's installation on Wednesday. Despite logistical challenges, including the absence of the Deputy CM and other ministers, the ritual was performed to meet auspicious timing before Dasara festival.

Reddy criticized the previous administration for failing to install a Telangana Talli statue during their decade-long rule, contrasting it with the current government's commitment to honoring the cultural icon of Telangana. Emphasizing the importance of public accessibility, he condemned past restrictions on public entry to the Secretariat.
