Electrocution Tragedy in Delhi's Ranjeet Nagar Amid Heavy Waterlogging

A 40-year-old woman, identified as Seema, tragically died from electrocution amid severe waterlogging in Ranjeet Nagar, Delhi, on Friday, officials said.
The incident took place in Gali No. 8, near Sarkari Toilet. Initial findings suggest that Seema encountered a live electric current in the water-logged street while heading home.
Emergency measures were taken immediately following the incident. Officials from TPDDL were informed, leading to the disconnection of electricity in the area. Seema was rushed to RML hospital, where she was pronounced dead. Authorities stated that appropriate action will be taken based on the post-mortem findings.
