Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha has called upon citizens to cooperate with the government and National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) personnel as relief and rescue operations continue in the flood-affected regions of the state. On Thursday, CM Saha conducted an inspection of the BR Ambedkar School in Battala, a site where a relief camp has been established for flood victims.

"The situation remains concerning," Saha stated. "I urge everyone to support the government and NDRF teams. I am personally visiting all affected areas. The central government has provided all necessary aid. Weather permitting, tomorrow I may inspect the overall situation from a helicopter. We are closely monitoring developments and hope for the best outcome. Thanks to the double-engine government, we've managed the situation effectively," the Chief Minister added.

CM Saha also mentioned that Home Minister Amit Shah has been in contact, offering full support. "I communicated our needs, and he immediately agreed. We are deploying all necessary personnel based on the demands and situation. The condition in Amarpur is critical. We are distributing food and exploring the airlifting of supplies. Our primary concern is everyone's safety. This is a collective challenge, and everyone must come forward to assist the government. District Magistrates and Disaster Management teams are working tirelessly across the state," Saha concluded. (ANI)
