Rajasthan Government Announces Key Employee Benefits and Infrastructure Developments
In a significant move, the Rajasthan Government, led by Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, has introduced notable benefits for state employees and approved critical infrastructure projects. Highlights include increased gratuity limits, extended family pension benefits, and accelerated railway development projects.

The Rajasthan Government, under Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, has made several crucial decisions benefiting state employees during a recent cabinet meeting. Among these, the increase of gratuity and death gratuity from Rs 20 lakh to Rs 25 lakh stands out.
Deputy Chief Minister Premchand Bairwa and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Jogaram Patel communicated these updates in a press briefing. They highlighted the approval for extending the maximum gratuity limit and new medical facility options for employees, aligning with the Central Government Health Scheme (CGHS).
Moreover, the cabinet decided to grant family pension benefits at increased rates for 10 years, effective from April 1, 2024. In addition, amendments were approved for clerical and subordinate court staff promotions and a new railway project in collaboration with the Central Government was expedited.
