State-owned REC Ltd on Wednesday announced that its arm, RECPDCL, has successfully transferred a project-specific Special Purpose Vehicle to Apraava Energy Pvt Ltd.

The project is designed to facilitate the evacuation of power from the Rajasthan Renewable Energy Zone Phase IV, located in the Jaisalmer/Barmer Complex, according to a statement from REC Ltd.

Apraava Energy emerged as the transmission service provider through a tariff-based competitive bidding process conducted by RECPDCL. The transmission project is set to be constructed on a Build, Own, Operate, and Transfer (BOOT) basis.
