Doctors in Hyderabad organized a candle march and 'Nukkad Natak' protest on Tuesday, condemning the alleged rape and murder incident at RG Kar Medical College and Hospital in Kolkata. Speaking to ANI, a protestor said despite the CBI investigation, there has been substantial resistance from the state government. However, the doctors are optimistic that justice will be served.

'The CBI has taken up the case, but there has been resistance from the state government. We are hopeful that the CBI will do justice for the doctors,' a protestor stated. She added that the Supreme Court has constituted a National Task Force for the medical faculty, fostering hope that stringent actions will follow soon.

'We watched the decision recordings where the Supreme Court formulated a National Task Force for the medical faculty. We hope and pray for strict action soon. The Supreme Court has also taken suo-moto cognizance, and better resolutions are anticipated,' she explained. Earlier today, several doctors in Shimla marched to the Himachal Pradesh Secretariat, demanding justice for the Kolkata victim and better security for medical personnel.

The Shimla doctors emphasized the need for heightened safety measures for medical staff in Himachal Pradesh. Dr. Abhishek Sharma, speaking to ANI, stressed their primary demand for justice for the rape victim. He criticized the government for allegedly shielding the accused and imposing a form of dictatorship.
