Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy on Tuesday inspected the State Secretariat as part of preparations for installing the Telangana Talli statue, slated for December 9. This announcement came earlier in the day, and Reddy paid floral tribute to late Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi in Somajiguda, Hyderabad on his birth anniversary.
Reiterating the importance of the statue, Reddy stated, 'The Secretariat, which is the epicentre of the state administration, is a suitable place for the installation of the Telangana Talli statue with pride and utmost respect.' During the inspection, he discussed various aspects such as the site, required area, and designs with officials, as per a press release.
'The Telangana Talli statue should reflect Telangana's culture,' Reddy instructed the officials. He ordered the preparation of detailed plans for the installation. (ANI)
