Smriti Mandhana Climbs to Third in ICC ODI Rankings

India vice-captain Smriti Mandhana has moved up to third place in the latest ICC ODI rankings for women. She is now the top-ranked Indian batter in the format. Other notable movements include Sri Lanka's Chamari Athapaththu slipping to fourth and significant advancements by Harshitha Samarawickrama and Gaby Lewis in T20 rankings.

India vice-captain Smriti Mandhana has risen to third place in the latest ICC ODI rankings for women, released on Tuesday. With 738 rating points, she is now the top-ranked Indian batter in the 50-over format. Meanwhile, Indian skipper Harmanpreet Kaur has retained her ninth position.

Sri Lanka's star batter Chamari Athapaththu has dropped to fourth place. However, compatriots Nilakshika de Silva, Harshitha Samarawickrama, and Kavisha Dilhari have made significant gains in the ODI batting rankings, moving up to 32nd, 44th, and 50th places, respectively.

Mandhana also maintained her fourth position in the T20 rankings. Sri Lanka's Harshitha Samarawickrama and Ireland's Gaby Lewis have also achieved career-high positions in the T20 format, following notable performances in recent matches.
