MBB Airport authorities in Agartala honored Maharaja Bir Bikram Kishore Manikya Bahadur on his 116th birth anniversary. Officials, including acting Airport Director CK Mallick and Operations HOD Smitha Prakash, paid homage to the 'Architect of Modern Tripura' at the Maharaja's statue on Monday.

Passengers were also part of the event, joining in the tribute to the former ruler. The airport authorities organized a display of videos about Maharaja Bir Bikram inside the terminal to educate the public about his contributions.

Chief Minister Manik Saha took to Facebook to honor the Maharaja, calling him a visionary leader who shaped the state's future. Meanwhile, a two-day event was organized in Khumulwng, featuring a discussion panel and an exhibition about the Maharaja's life and work. CM Saha highlighted the current government's efforts to honor the Maharaja, including renaming the Agartala airport and installing his statue.
