Parts of Delhi experienced severe waterlogging after heavy rainfall early Tuesday morning. The downpour led to significant traffic congestion, causing major commuting difficulties for residents.

Particularly hard-hit areas included Ashram Bridge and Minto Road, where vehicles were seen submerged in water due to incessant rain.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast widespread light to moderate rainfall for Delhi and southwest NCR throughout the day. The IMD also warned of a moderate-to-intense rainfall spell in Central and East Delhi during the morning hours. Additionally, IMD cautioned about heavy rain at isolated locations in Uttarakhand, Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttar Pradesh, with thunderstorms and lightning likely in some areas. (ANI)
