Tibetan Women Celebrate Rakshabandhan with RSS Chief in Nagpur
Tibetan women celebrated Rakshabandhan at the RSS headquarters in Nagpur, tying rakhis to RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat. Various dignitaries including Chhattisgarh's CM Vishnu Deo Sai also marked the festival with prayers at Ujjain's Mahakal temple, meeting his MP counterpart CM Mohan Yadav.

Women from the Tibetan community celebrated Rakshabandhan at the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) headquarters, where they tied a 'rakhi' to RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat in Nagpur on Monday. The ceremony also saw the presence of Tibetan Settlement Officer Lodo Tsangpo, chairman of the National Commission for Safai Karamcharis, M Vyankatesh, Shashank Singh, and Jigme Kunjom, Secretary of Women's Association.
RSS officials Ramesh Pasari and Ulhas Itankar attended the event as well. Earlier in the day, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai visited his Madhya Pradesh counterpart Mohan Yadav in Ujjain. Sai, in the city to offer prayers at the Mahakal temple, met CM Yadav at the Circuit House, expressing the serendipity of their encounter.
'Today, I came here to offer prayers at Mahakal temple in Ujjain and luckily CM Mohan Yadav was also in the city, therefore we had a courtesy meeting,' Sai said to reporters. CM Yadav expressed joy over Sai's visit and emphasized the cultural ties between Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh. 'I am happy that the glory of our Baba Mahakal may increase and different guests come and attend the Mahakal Sawari,' he remarked.
