Union Minister Chouhan Embraces Love of Vidisha in Tiranga Yatra

Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan participated in the Tiranga Yatra in Budhni and Rehti locality within the Vidisha Lok Sabha constituency on Saturday, addressing a gathering of Ladli Behnas. The women presented a huge Rakhi to Chouhan, tying it on his wrist to mark the occasion.
In his address, Chouhan said, "You have given me immense affection and blessings. The voice of Budhni and Vidisha now resonates across India. I will serve the people till my last breath, not as a minister but as a sevak." He highlighted the success of the Ladli Behna Yojana in Madhya Pradesh, now extended to several states including Maharashtra, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, and Delhi.
Chouhan outlined a six-point roadmap for agriculture under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership: increasing production, reducing production costs, ensuring fair prices, disaster compensation, diversification and value addition, and promoting natural farming. He also announced plans to extend the Street Vendor Scheme to villages, aiming to make life easier for rural residents.
Speaking to reporters, Chouhan emphasized his commitment to understanding public needs, stating his intent to work with full strength to improve the lives of farmers and women, and to enhance village life. "The development works of Budhni and Vidisha will continue. Public service is my life and family," he added.
