Minister of State for the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), Shri Shripad Yesso Naik, convened a crucial meeting today with representatives from various renewable industry associations, including the All-Indian Solar Industries Association. The discussions centered on the Production-Linked Incentive (PLI) scheme and other initiatives designed to bolster Indian manufacturing within the renewable energy sector.

Shri Naik reaffirmed the government's commitment to advancing India’s transition to a low-carbon economy, assuring industry representatives of MNRE’s full support. “Our goal is to accelerate the growth of India’s renewable energy sector, and we are committed to providing the necessary support to achieve this,” Naik stated.

Secretary of MNRE, Shri Bhupinder Singh Bhalla, also attended the meeting and emphasized the Ministry’s dedication to promoting growth and innovation within the sector. “We are focused on fostering an environment that supports development and encourages technological advancements in renewable energy,” Bhalla added.
