In a significant commemoration of Kargil Vijay Diwas, Headquarters Uniform Force organized a bike rally celebrating the 1999 Kargil War victory. The 'All Women Motorbike Rally' traversed challenging Ladakh terrain, including the world's highest motorable passes, Khardung La and Umling La.

The rally upheld the indomitable spirit of Indian soldiers and paid homage to female empowerment by breaking stereotypes in adventure activities. Fifty experienced women riders, including military spouses and serving officers, embarked on the 16-day journey from Leh to the Kargil War Memorial.

Riders honored martyrs at five memorials, crossing Khardung La and Umling La. Collaborating with civil agencies, the Indian Army highlighted the bravery and sacrifices of the Kargil War heroes. The 25th Kargil Vijay Diwas will culminate in the grand Rajat Mahotsav event on July 26, 2024.
