Members of the opposition INDIA bloc, led by Congress member Gaurav Gogoi, staged a protest in the Parliament complex on Wednesday against the recently presented Union Budget by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman. The opposition leaders labeled the budget as discriminatory and biased.

During an interview with ANI, Gogoi articulated that the Budget was unfair and ignored critical state concerns. He accused the government of disregarding local needs, stressing that the INDIA alliance's demonstration aims to highlight these issues.

Leaders including Rahul Gandhi, Sonia Gandhi, and Mallikarjun Kharge participated in the rally, raising slogans and carrying placards denouncing the Budget.
