In a strategic move to enhance the financial well-being of its workforce, the Steel Authority of India Ltd (SAIL) has entered into a partnership with Punjab National Bank (PNB). The agreement, signed recently, will provide SAIL employees with home, car, and education loans at concessional rates, according to a statement from PNB.

The memorandum of understanding (MoU) was formalized by Sudhir Dalal, PNB General Manager - Business Acquisition and Relationship Management Division, Lavika Jain, SAIL General Manager - Finance, and Bikram Uppal, SAIL General Manager - HR. The signing ceremony saw the presence of prominent figures, including PNB Executive Director Bibhu Prasad Mahapatra and other senior officials from both organizations.

This collaboration is expected to not only benefit the employees of SAIL but also expand PNB's customer base within the steel sector, further strengthening the bank's outreach in the industry.
