Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath emphasized on Wednesday that the transformation of Ayodhya showcases the efficiency of a 'double-engine government'. He called for similar advancements in Kashi and Mathura, particularly as India approaches its 2047 centenary of independence.

Addressing a large gathering during the eighth Deepotsav, Adityanath reflected on the Ram temple consecration, noting, "After a 500-year wait, Lord Ram is home in Ayodhya for Diwali." The event celebrated the government's achievement while criticizing the opposition for hindering development efforts.

Adityanath credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision for the development of Sanatan Dharma's heritage and stressed Ayodhya's role in this initiative. He reiterated the government's commitment to transforming the city and highlighted the ongoing Rs 31,000 crore projects aimed at showcasing Ayodhya globally.
