Prime Minister Narendra Modi paused his speech at a Gohana rally on Wednesday when he noticed a young boy standing on a chair, holding up a hand-drawn portrait of him.
Modi instructed his security personnel to collect the sketch and the boy's details, including his name and address, assuring the boy he would write him a letter soon.
'Bete, aap bahut badiya chitr bana k laye ho (Son, you have drawn a very good picture),' Modi told the boy, and encouraged him to sit down to avoid getting tired. Modi then shared his admiration for the drawing with the audience. The rally was part of the BJP's campaign for the October 5 Haryana polls.
