Union Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Tuesday expressed confidence that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will secure a victory in the upcoming Haryana polls scheduled for October 5. He claimed that the Congress is poised for a defeat.

Khattar, addressing the media at the nomination filing of Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, stated that the BJP will form the government for a third consecutive term under Saini's leadership. Saini is contesting from the Ladwa seat in Kurukshetra district.

When questioned about the Congress and AAP's failure to form an alliance for the Assembly polls, Khattar pointed out the lack of coherence within these parties, remarking that they have no substantial offerings for the voters.
