AI Integration Promises Smoother Maha Kumbh Mela Journey

Principal Secretary for Urban Development, Amrit Abhijat, announced that the upcoming Maha Kumbh Mela will witness enhanced crowd management through Artificial Intelligence, web technology, WhatsApp, and information technology. The objective is to provide a seamless experience for devotees.
During a visit to the Sangam area, Abhijat revealed that cameras equipped with AI would be deployed for efficient crowd control, supplemented by information technology to enhance passenger facilities. He emphasized the importance of the next 40-45 days for on-ground preparations, aiming for completion by November 10.
The improvements include beautified welcoming gates, daily video conferences to monitor progress, and enhanced health and drinking water facilities. With efforts picking up post-monsoon, the fair expects twice the traffic of the previous Kumbh Mela.
