Madhya Pradesh Government to Aid Family of Fallen Soldier with Rs One Crore

The Madhya Pradesh government has announced financial aid of Rs one crore to the family of Army personnel Pradeep Patel, who tragically lost his life in a road accident in Sikkim.
Chief Minister Mohan Yadav paid tribute to the fallen soldier at Khajuraho airport upon the arrival of his mortal remains. Yadav confirmed that the state stands firmly by the family during this time of mourning, given Patel was unmarried. The final rites took place in his native village Hardua in Katni district.
Patel, who joined the Army in 2019, is survived by his parents and two married sisters. The Madhya Pradesh government recently decided to split financial aid for deceased security personnel between the spouse and the parents.
