Telangana Unveils Ambitious AI Strategy for Sustainable Development
Telangana aims to leverage Artificial Intelligence (AI) to enhance service delivery for over one crore citizens and improve government employee productivity by more than 20% in the next three years. The AI Powered Telangana Strategy Document outlines six critical pillars, emphasizing AI's integration into various domains including education, healthcare, and agriculture.

Telangana is set to harness the transformative power of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to advance Sustainable Development Goals and improve service delivery for over one crore citizens. The state's ambitious plan also aims to boost government employee productivity by more than 20% in the next three years.
Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy unveiled the AI Powered Telangana Strategy Document at the Global AI Summit, outlining six critical pillars for an AI-driven state. The government intends to set a new benchmark in AI-driven governance across India by integrating AI across its operations, focusing on domains such as education, healthcare, agriculture, and service delivery.
Reddy emphasized the state's commitment to innovation and technology, highlighting previous efforts in AI. The Telangana AI Mission (T-AIM), in collaboration with Nasscom, will facilitate the implementation of the AI framework. IT Minister D Sridhar Babu added that the state plans to support the development of datasets and models that consider state-specific nuances, as well as provide subsidized access to computing capacity for government departments and early-stage startups focused on socially conscious AI solutions.
