Congress Leaders Unveil Statue of Patangrao Kadam in Sangli

Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge and MP Rahul Gandhi will visit Maharashtra's Sangli district to unveil a statue of the late Patangrao Kadam. NCP chief Sharad Pawar and Shiv Sena leader Uddhav Thackeray will also attend. The event, on Teachers Day, will be held at Sonhira Sugar Factory in Kadegaon.

Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge and party MP Rahul Gandhi are set to visit Sangli district in Maharashtra on September 5. Their visit aims to honor the late Patangrao Kadam with a statue unveiling.

Prominent leaders including NCP's Sharad Pawar and Shiv Sena's Uddhav Thackeray will also grace the event. Vishwajeet Kadam, Congress MLA and son of Patangrao Kadam, announced that the ceremony will take place at Sonhira Sugar Factory in Kadegaon on Teachers Day.

Patangrao Kadam served in various ministries within Congress-led governments and was the founding president of Bharati Vidyapeeth, leaving a notable legacy in Maharashtra's political and educational landscape.
