Tamil superstar Vikram, known for his remarkable versatility, is set to introduce Hindi audiences to 'Thangalaan'. The actor, who has played diverse roles from a Chola prince in 'Ponniyin Selvan' to a man with multiple personality disorders in 'Anniyan', spoke to PTI about his intense physical transformations for his new film.

In 'Thangalaan', directed by Pa Ranjith, Vikram plays an oppressed labourer who finds gold in Kolar, Karnataka during British rule. Shedding light on his dedication, Vikram shared, "I enjoy slipping into characters, each role is a piece of me. Even 'Thangalaan' must have a lot of me in it."

Despite initial challenges where he would carry his characters home, the 58-year-old actor has now mastered the art of switching roles. 'Thangalaan', already a massive hit in Tamil Nadu, is now set to premiere in North India, with Vikram expressing confidence in its success across different regions.
