Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) has unveiled an ambitious afforestation project, 'Aranya,' in Bihar to boost the state's greenery.
The initiative will employ 1,00,000 seedballs dispersed across 50 hectares using drone-aided aerial seeding technology, focusing on multiple forest areas in collaboration with the Bihar government and a local NGO.
This CSR activity aims to restore forest cover, enhance environmental awareness, and create economic opportunities for local communities, as stated by BPCL's Head of CSR, Raman Malik.
