Coco Gauff: Champion and Wheaties Cover Star
Coco Gauff, the young Grand Slam champion, is set to appear on a special edition Wheaties cereal box. As the youngest American to win the US Open since Serena Williams, Gauff aims to inspire the next generation. Her feature follows Billie Jean King's recent recognition by the brand.
A year after clinching her Grand Slam victory, Coco Gauff has teamed up with the iconic 'Breakfast of Champions'. As she prepares to defend her US Open title, Gauff will be featured on the cover of a limited-edition Wheaties cereal box, the company announced on Tuesday.
The US Open kicks off next Monday, a year after Gauff made history by winning the tournament at just 19 years old, making her the youngest American champion since Serena Williams in 1999. This new Wheaties box comes shortly after the brand honored Billie Jean King, a 39-time major champion and equal rights pioneer.
'I've had so many role models in this sport who have guided my professional and personal journey,' said Gauff. 'I hope to continue empowering the next generation to work hard and dream big.'
