Actor Amit Sial, set to captivate audiences with his new role in 'Tikdam,' revealed what drew him to the script. The family drama centers on a man, played by Sial, compelled to leave his small town for a bustling city due to limited opportunities. The narrative delves into the emotional struggle of his children, who go to great lengths to prevent his departure.

Sial, known for his compelling performances in 'Maharani,' 'Jamtara,' 'Kathmandu Connection,' and 'Qala,' brings depth to his new character. 'I got a little more intense in my life. So it was very important to get out of it. And this work came to me at the right time,' he shared with ANI. 'Every new work brings its own challenges, but working with talented directors has always been a blessing for me.'

'Tikdam,' directed by Vivek Anchalia and produced by Jyoti Deshpande, Poonam Shroff, Parth Gajjar, Savio Shenoy, and Shweta Sharma Anchalia, features Arisht Jain, Aarohi Saud, Divyansh Dwivedi, and Nayan Bhatt in key roles. Anchalia praised Sial's depth, stating, 'Amit is one of the finest actors we have. His range of emotions made him perfect for this layered character.' The film's trailer has recently been released, and 'Tikdam' is scheduled to stream on August 23 on JioCinema.
