Samajwadi Party's New Initiative for Women's Empowerment
Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav announced the formation of 'Samajwadi Sabla-Suraksha Vahini' on Raksha Bandhan. This initiative aims to promote the protection and empowerment of women through various programs focusing on their economic empowerment and safety, tackling societal attitudes towards women with sincere and concrete efforts.

On the occasion of Raksha Bandhan on Monday, Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav announced the formation of 'Samajwadi Sabla-Suraksha Vahini' aimed at the empowerment and protection of women and girls.
This initiative is set to promote the protection and empowerment of women by reaching every individual and inducing a fundamental shift in societal attitudes, Yadav stated in a post on X.
''The 'Samajwadi Sabla-Suraksha Vahini' will not merely be a formality. Drawing from past experiences, it will address current challenges head-on and undertake long-term, substantive measures to foster meaningful change. The initiative aims to demonstrate that genuine change is driven by sincere efforts rather than empty declarations,'' he asserted.
The initiative will utilize a variety of programs focused on economic empowerment and safety to bolster women's confidence and ensure their comprehensive empowerment, he added.
