In a stunning sweep, 'Brahmastra: Part One - Shiva' celebrated three major wins at the 70th National Awards. Actor Alia Bhatt eagerly shared her excitement on social media.

The sci-fi epic earned accolades in crucial categories. Arijit Singh took home the Best Male Playback Singer award for 'Kesariya,' a hauntingly beautiful number. The film also clinched titles for Best Film in AVGC (Animation, Visual Effects, Gaming, and Comic) and Best VFX Film.

The storyline of 'Brahmastra: Part One - Shiva' centers around Shiva, a DJ, who uncovers his mysterious connection with fire and his ability to awaken the Brahmastra, a weapon capable of annihilating the universe. Notable stars Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Mouni Roy, and Nagarjuna lead the ensemble cast.

The awards were made public on Friday in the national capital, with a jury comprising distinguished cinema personalities. The announcement was led by Rahul Rawail, Chairperson of the Feature Films Jury, Nila Madhab Panda, Chairperson of the Non-feature Films Jury, and Gangadhar Mudaliar, Best Writing on Cinema Jury, alongside Vrunda Desai, Joint Secretary (Films), Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.
