Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Tuesday joined a 'Tiranga' bike rally in Roorkee, as part of the ongoing Independence Day celebrations.

Wearing a tricolour scarf around his neck, Dhami led the procession on a motorcycle, accompanied by hundreds of participants waving national flags.

'The tricolour is the pride of the nation. It symbolizes patriotism and dedication to the country,' remarked Dhami. He urged everyone to support the 'Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan' and make it a resounding success.

The rally started from Nehru Stadium and concluded at Shatabdi Dwar near IIT-Roorkee.

The third edition of the 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign, commemorating Independence Day, is being celebrated from August 9 to 15. Launched under the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav initiative in 2022, the campaign aims to evoke a sense of national pride among citizens.
