Amarnath Yatra Suspended on Both Routes Due to Heavy Rains

This decision follows the earlier closure of the Pahalgam route for maintenance work. Divisional Commissioner Kashmir V K Bhiduri reported heavy rains affecting both routes.

No yatris will be allowed on the Baltal route for safety reasons. Over 5.10 lakh pilgrims have visited the shrine this year. Further updates will be provided in due course.
