Following the devastating landslides in Wayanad, Kerala, Deepa Joseph's ambulance became a lifeline, transporting the injured and deceased. As the first female ambulance driver in Kerala, Deepa grappled with her emotions while recalling the horrific scenes she witnessed in Meppadi's temporary morgue and alongside transporting body parts of victims.

Deepa, who had paused her driving career due to depression after her daughter's death from blood cancer, returned to Wayanad from Kozhikode to meet the urgent demand for ambulances with freezer boxes.
