West Bengal Celebrates Ulto Rath with Devotion and Enthusiasm

Devotees across West Bengal celebrated the 'Ulto Rath' (Return Car) festival on Monday with great fervor, pulling the chariots of Lord Jagannath, Lord Balaram, and Devi Subhadra.
In Kolkata, people thronged to touch the ropes and pull the chariots as the ISKCON-organized religious procession traveled through key routes in central and south Kolkata, culminating at the Radha Krishna temple on Albert Road.
Similar grand processions took place in Mayapur, Nadia district, the global headquarters of ISKCON, attracting thousands of devotees. Flower-adorned chariots were also a highlight in Hooghly, Purba Medinipur, and several other districts, with fairs and exhibitions drawing sizable crowds in both urban and rural areas.
