The fifth edition of the Delhi Theatre Festival returns on September 20, bringing together some of the biggest names in theatre and cinema, including Naseeruddin Shah, Ratna Pathak Shah, Shabana Azmi, and Lillete Dubey.

Organized by Alchemist Live, this year's festival will be held at various prominent venues such as Siri Fort Auditorium, Kamani Auditorium, OP Jindal Auditorium in Delhi, and Orana Conventions in Gurugram. Over three days, seven acclaimed plays will be performed.

Highlights include Ratna Pathak and Naseeruddin Shah's 'Old World,' Twinkle Khanna's 'Salaam Noni Appa,' Mandira Bedi and Samir Soni's 'Anything but Love,' and Shabana Azmi's 'Broken Images.' Additionally, 'One on One Dhamaal' and 'Jaya - A Rock Musical of the Mahabharata' will feature celebrated talents. Vinay Pathak and Rajat Kapoor will present an adaptation of Macbeth in 'What's Done is Done.'

COO and co-founder of Alchemist LIVE, Prabhu Tony, emphasized the festival's aim to push the boundaries of theatrical entertainment and create a global hub for theatre enthusiasts. 'This year's festival promises to be a captivating exploration of theatrical diversity,' he stated.
