Good news for the animation enthusiasts! ‘Young Justice: Outsiders’ Season 3 has got a new trailer. The highly anticipated animated superhero series will continue with the various dangling plot threats that were left unresolved when the show went off in 2013.

Season 3 of ‘Young Justice’ was confirmed in November 2016 and its official title ‘Young Justice: Outsiders’ was later revealed in April 2017. The launch of this trailer is an indication of another step ahead to its final release in January next year.

“‘Young Justice: Outsiders’ continues the story with our heroes still dealing with the events of Season 2 while facing the new threat of meta-human teen trafficking and the intergalactic arms race for control of these super-powered youths,” DC Universe said in the press release.

The upcoming third season of Brandon Vietti and Greg Weisman-developed superhero is said to be consisting of 26 episodes in total. Three new episodes will be aired every Friday starting from January 4 and continue till January 18, 2019. Again four new episodes will be aired on January 25 as mid-season finale. The viewers will again get the series in June 2019 with the second half of the season.

The series will feature a team consisting of several characters such as Wonder Girl, Kid Flash, Beast Boy, Static, Robin, Spoiler, Blue Beetle and Arsenal. Two new characters have been added to the roster – Thirteen and Arrowette. The series will have other recurring characters Artemis Crock, Nightwing and Superboy. The show will jump forward a few years obviously clearing the remaining cliffhangers.

The making of ‘Young Justice: Outsiders’ Season 3 documentary tales will be aired on Tuesday, January 8. The original series is slated to have its premiere on Friday, January 4 on DC Universe and DC Comics’ new digital media service.
