The official synopsis does not give much detail except Behavioral Analysis Unit’s (BAU) responsibility to look into the serial killing case. However, since Aisha Tyler is directing the episode, it is worth seeing how she is showing off her directing talents in which she is going to have a big role. After all, the viewers are going to have an opportunity to learn a tad about her character Dr. Tara Lewis’ past courtesy of a professor.

“This professor does come bearing some really important news all about some shocking patient deaths, and (of course) it is going to be up to the fine folks over at the BAU to get answers by however means necessarily,” Cartermatt assured.

The promo shows Lewis attending a speaking engagement at the state university. Her right arm is clearly visible grabbed by an unrecognized man and fans believe his identity is going to be a major part in the upcoming episode of ‘Criminal Minds’ Season 14.

On the other hand, while the synopsis reveals the BAU informant is a professor from Lewis’ past, the promo shows her (Lewis) at the end saying on the phone to someone, “He is my ex-husband.” This creates a huge confusion among the viewers, which is likely to be solved in the upcoming episode.
