Acting on the viral video, Assistant Commissioner of the Tribal Department, Ranjana Singh, immediately suspended the teacher. According to local sources, the teacher attempted to justify his actions by claiming the children were not studying. The video eventually captured the attention of District Collector Rajesh Batham, who ordered a probe, leading to the teacher's suspension based on preliminary investigations and the girl's statement.
