The Delhi government is set to conduct a three-day training session on disaster management for teachers of state-run schools, officials confirmed.
A recent circular from the Directorate of Education announced the sessions, targeting 76 nodal in-charges from various schools in the national capital.
The initiative aims to prepare Physical Education teachers for emergencies such as earthquakes, fires, and floods, responding to recent safety concerns including bomb threats and incidents like the Old Rajinder Nagar coaching institute tragedy.
Authorities have been directed to ensure the attendance of the nominated nodal in-charges.
