Massive Infrastructure Boost with Rs 1,100 Crore Projects in Andhra and Madhya Pradesh

The Indian government has taken a significant step toward enhancing infrastructure by approving more than Rs 1,100 crore for projects in Andhra Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh. Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari announced these ambitious projects aimed at transforming regional connectivity.
In Andhra Pradesh, Rs 252.42 crore has been sanctioned for the development of a 6-lane elevated corridor at Ranasthalam, Srikakulam. This project is expected to alleviate traffic congestion, improve road safety, and create new socio-economic opportunities in the region.
Additionally, the government has allocated Rs 903.44 crore for the upgradation of the Gyaraspur to Rahatgarh section of National Highway-146 in Madhya Pradesh. As part of the Bhopal-Kanpur corridor, this development is set to bolster regional trade, promote connectivity, and enhance the quality of life by boosting economic activities.
