Air India and Singapore Airlines (SIA) have taken a significant step in expanding their partnership with a new codeshare agreement. This agreement adds 11 Indian cities and 40 international destinations, marking the most extensive collaboration between the two airlines since 2010.

The codeshare will see an increase in weekly scheduled services between Singapore and India from October 27, raising the number to 56. This move offers travelers improved connectivity and convenience, with Air India customers gaining access to 29 destinations across SIA's network, while SIA passengers can connect to Air India's international routes from major Indian hubs.

The expansion underscores a longstanding partnership and reflects the carriers' commitment to catering to air travel demand and supporting aviation market growth. Subject to regulatory approval, the agreement opens up numerous travel possibilities for passengers, enhancing their options between Southeast Asia, the Far East, and beyond.
