On Monday, shares of Reliance Industries witnessed a dramatic decline of more than 3%, resulting in a market valuation loss of Rs 66,819.76 crore. This sharp fall caused the benchmark indices to tumble significantly.
The BSE Sensex plummeted by 1,272.07 points, closing at 84,299.78, while the NSE Nifty dropped 368.10 points to settle at 25,810.85. The Reliance Industries stock concluded at Rs 2,953.80 per share on the BSE, marking a 3.23% decrease. During intraday trading, it hit a low of Rs 2,950.
On the NSE, the stock descended by 3.13% to end the day at Rs 2,956.70. Consequently, the company's market valuation diminished significantly to Rs 19,98,503.98 crore, making it the worst performer among the BSE Sensex firms.
