Heartfelt Charity Event Brings Joy to Guwahati Orphanage

The International Youth Development Foundation (IYDF) and PURBAYAN hosted a charity event at the Redcross Children Home orphanage in Guwahati, Assam. The initiative aimed at improving living conditions for 15 orphaned children by offering essential supplies, including food, sports equipment, clothing, and learning materials.
Organized by Haimantika Bhattacharjee from PURBAYAN, the event was supported by volunteers Kaushik Dey Biswas, Rupak Debroy, Sarbani Mallik, Ranjan Kumar Deka, Rupaam Choudhary, Bablu Mallik, and Master Deroy, as well as the head of the orphanage, Sanjeev Das. Running smoothly from 1:30 PM to 3 PM, the event featured the distribution of various supplies and interactive activities.
Donations included a range of food items to meet nutritional needs, sports equipment for recreational activities, and stationery for educational purposes. In a heartwarming gesture, volunteers and children sang the Indian national anthem together, followed by a communal meal that fostered deeper emotional connections. The event left both volunteers and children with a sense of pride and fulfillment.
