The Clothing Manufacturers Association of India (CMAI) has formalized two strategic Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) with the Noida Apparel Export Cluster (NAEC) and the Garment Exporters Association of Rajasthan (GEAR). Signed in Mumbai, these agreements aim to uplift garment manufacturers in Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan through shared strengths and expanded market opportunities.

The MOUs focus on promoting trade interests and facilitating joint initiatives. They aim to enhance knowledge sharing and encourage participation in trade fairs. In addition, the partnerships will represent the industry to both central and state governments, advocating for the interests of garment manufacturers in these regions.

Commenting on the collaboration with NAEC, CMAI President Rajesh Masand highlighted that the partnership will connect UP garment manufacturers with CMAI's extensive network of buyers and retailers across India. NAEC President Lalit Thukral noted that aligning with CMAI marks a significant advancement for Uttar Pradesh's garment industry, offering immense benefits to their exporter members.

GEAR also renewed its MOU with CMAI, further strengthening an already fruitful partnership for Rajasthan's garment exporters. Zakir Hussain, GEAR President, emphasized the substantial benefits their members have already enjoyed and expressed optimism for the future expansion of their collaborative efforts.

CMAI Vice President Rohit Munjal underscored the growing demand for Rajasthan-made garments, expressing optimism about the renewed collaboration's potential to boost manufacturers' presence in the domestic retail market. These alliances reflect CMAI's commitment to supporting garment manufacturers across India, helping them navigate new opportunities and achieve sustained growth in a competitive landscape. (ANI)
