Durgapur Airport Expands Connectivity with Two New Flight Routes
The Durgapur airport in West Bengal has introduced two new flights, enhancing connectivity to Bhubaneswar, Bagdogra, and Guwahati. Operated by IndiGo, these routes will provide improved travel convenience and economic growth for the region. The flights began operations on Friday and Saturday, respectively.

The Durgapur airport in West Bengal has introduced two new flight routes, effectively boosting connectivity to key destinations. According to a statement released on Saturday, IndiGo will manage the new flights to Bhubaneswar, Bagdogra in Siliguri, and Guwahati.
The Bhubaneswar-Durgapur-Bagdogra route commenced operations on Friday and will run four days a week—Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. Meanwhile, the Bhubaneswar-Durgapur-Guwahati flight began service on Saturday, operating three days a week—Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.
These additions are set to enhance travel convenience for passengers and contribute to the region's economic growth. 'We are excited to welcome these new flights that will undoubtedly boost connectivity across key destinations in the region,' commented Kailash Mandal, director and accountable executive of Durgapur Airport.
