Tragic Bus Accident in Pakistan's Balochistan Claims 11 Lives
At least 11 people were killed and 35 injured when a bus returning from Iran veered off the highway in Balochistan, Pakistan. The accident occurred on the Makran coastal highway, near Hub. At least 11 individuals lost their lives, and 35 others sustained injuries in a tragic bus accident in Pakistan's Balochistan province on Sunday, according to media reports.
The bus, carrying 70 pilgrims returning from Iran, veered off the Makran coastal highway and plunged into a ravine near Hub, reported the Dawn newspaper.
The injured were swiftly transported to a nearby hospital for medical treatment, and a rescue operation led by District Commissioner (DC) Lasbela Humaira Baloch is ongoing. Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif expressed deep sorrow over the incident and extended her condolences to the bereaved families.
