Deadly Collision in Odisha: Tanker Overturns, Claims Four Lives

In a tragic incident on Thursday morning, a head-on collision between a bus and a tanker in Odisha's Ganjam district led to the death of four individuals and injured 13 others, police reported.
The accident took place on National Highway 59 near Samarjhola, close to Hinjili. The bus was traveling from Bhawanipatna to Berhampur, while the tanker was headed towards Aska.
Among the deceased, one person was on the bus and the other three were seated at a roadside tea stall. The injured were rushed to MKCG Medical College and Hospital, with two reportedly in critical condition. Superintendent of Police Jagmohan Meena confirmed the casualties, while efforts are ongoing to identify the deceased and clear the highway for traffic.
