Tata Consumer Products Ltd (TCPL), a key player in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector, has successfully merged three of its wholly-owned subsidiaries. This follows approvals from the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) and other regulatory bodies.

The three subsidiaries—Tata Consumer Soulfull Pvt Ltd, NourishCo Beverages Ltd, and Tata SmartFoodz Ltd—are now part of TCPL, the company said in a statement. The merger was officially effective from September 1, 2024, as per a regulatory filing, which highlights the completion of all necessary formalities.

This strategic move is in alignment with the company's focus on simplifying and streamlining its business for better efficiency and synergy. The operating structures for millet-based products, ready-to-drink, and ready-to-cook/eat segments remain unchanged, ensuring continued focus on key growth areas for TCPL. The company's diverse portfolio includes brands like Tata Tea, Tetley, and Himalayan Natural Mineral Water, contributing to its Rs 15,206 crore turnover.
