Tamil Nadu is poised for a major economic boost as the state's Minister of Industries, T.R.B. Rajaa, hinted at a substantial development. In a social media post, Rajaa revealed that an Indian multinational corporation, a leader in its sector, will establish operations in Tamil Nadu.

The announcement has sparked enthusiastic anticipation. Rajaa's excitement was palpable as he emphasized his deep connection to the sector. This development is expected to bolster the state's industrial growth and attract more investments.

At the recent Tamil Nadu Global Investors' Meet 2024, the minister highlighted impressive figures: investment MoUs worth Rs 6.64 lakh crores and 26 lakh jobs. Chief Minister MK Stalin also noted that the state attracted investments worth over Rs 9 lakh crores in the past three years, creating 31 lakh jobs. Stalin inaugurated 19 projects and laid foundations for 28 more, marking a significant stride in Tamil Nadu's industrial advancement.

A notable MoU was signed with Greenko Company for closed-loop pump storage facilities, bringing in Rs 20.114 crore and creating 1,500 jobs. Additionally, the foundation stone was laid for 'TN ENGINE,' a high-tech engineering facility in collaboration with Tata Technologies and Tamil Nadu Engineering & Innovation Centre.
