Maharashtra's state transport body achieved a record revenue of Rs 121 crore over four days, coinciding with the Rakhi festival.
The highest single-day revenue of Rs 35 crore was recorded on August 20, a day after Rakshabandhan, according to the Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC).
During this period, more than 1.6 crore passengers, including 50 lakh women, traveled in state transport buses serving routes to towns and cities within Maharashtra as well as adjoining states.
